Job Title: Delivery Driver
Department: Store Support Center Operations/Maintenance
Reports To: Director of Food Services
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Shift: 2nd Shift
POSITION SUMMARY
Timely and accurately delivers products to various convenience store locations in West Central Wisconsin using the company-provided vehicle.
CORE FUNCTIONS OF POSITION
- Provides excellent service to customers and team members.
- Delivers bakery and other items to the company's convenience stores
- Follows route and time schedules
- Loads, unloads, prepares, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
- Asks for feedback on provided services and resolves complaints
- Completes required logs and reports
- Follows DOT regulations and safety standards
- Follows all company policies and procedures
- Performs all other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and coworkers.
- Good oral and written communication.
- Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a driving background check
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize workload and deliveries
- Understand and follow food code and health department regulations
- Commitment to excellence in customer service and other Mega values.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- No education required
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred but not required
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
