About Our Exciting Career Opportunity
We are currently seeking an energetic, self-motivated professional with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills to join our dedicated team as a Member Experience Coordinator. The Member Experience Coordinator provides a variety of sales and service functions such as providing information on all Credit Union services and effectively cross selling the products and services that meet the member's specific needs. The incumbent will drive efficiency in member service by appropriately directing branch traffic throughout the branch and support the Branch Manager in maintaining a member focused sales and service culture within the branch.
The Member Experience Coordinator is a dynamic role that combines the responsibilities of a teller with member services. This position is responsible for providing exceptional member service, understanding the financial needs of members, and offering suitable solutions. The Member Experience Coordinator is the face of the Credit Union, fostering strong relationships with members and ensuring that their Credit Union experiences are positive and efficient.
Must have flexibility to work extended hours, at other branch locations, and support the Contact Center with call volume. Work hours may include weekends and evenings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Associate degree preferred.
- Two (2) years customer service experience required.
- One (1) year previous financial services experience preferred.
- Ability to multitask and identify member needs. Must be able to meet and/or exceed sales goals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with highly confidential information and perform routine mathematical calculations.
- Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, 10 key calculator, fax, copier, telephone, etc.
- Possess the ability to lift 25 pounds, sit and use a computer for prolonged periods of time.
