About the Job
While demonstrating Organizational Excellence, this position will be responsible for the following outcomes:
- Ensures that deposit portfolio goals defined in the Business Plan are achieved as measured by the Weekly Funds Analysis and Sales Reports
- Ensures loan production goals to include but not limited to consumer and home equity are achieved as measured by Sales Reports
- Performs as a sales and referral coach to the sales staff by providing ongoing informal and formal sales techniques to include conduction on-job coaching, conducting sales meetings, and coordinating promotions in order to assist the branch in meeting its goals
- Ensures sound operation of the branch to include risk, security, quality standards, expense control and compliance, error tracking reports, and audit reports to protect member accounts and minimize Credit Union exposure
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in business management or related field
- Minimum of three years managerial experience in a sales and service industry
- Excellent leadership and team building skills required, with a proven track record in sales and management skills
- Proven track record of three years of successful lending, sales, member service, compliance and branch operations
- Experience in the origination and processing of commercial and consumer loans
- Experience with productivity planning, budgeting and compliance issues desired
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Possess strong initiative and the ability to present a polished, professional image to the membership and community
- Possess strong time management, analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Strong PC skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Exchange) required
- Able to work a flexible schedule, which includes opening and closing the branch and working Saturdays
- Successful experience in business development required
