About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Member Service Representative to join our team.
Duties
- Greet and assist members in person, over the phone, and through online channels, addressing their needs and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Help members with account openings, closings, and updates, ensuring accuracy in transactions and maintaining member confidentiality.
- Educate members on products and services, including loans, savings accounts, and online banking tools, to help them make informed financial decisions.
- Accurately process transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, while ensuring compliance with credit union policies and procedures.
- Identify and resolve member issues or concerns effectively, escalating complex cases to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services to enhance member experience and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions and transactions in compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience is required.
- Has an active Public Trust or the ability to obtain one is required.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Familiar with a 10 key calculator, telephone, and computer keyboard is required.
