About the Job
** More than one person may be hired for this position.
Position Purpose: Provide live or virtual support for members before, during and after their participation with the cooperative.
Duties include:
- Assist members with making payments and billing inquiries
- Create service orders to repair, connect or disconnect electric services
- Listen to members' concerns, issues and questions
- Resolve members' concerns and questions about electric services or energy solutions
- Maintain a positive attitude and calmly respond to members' concerns or complaints
- Open new member accounts
- Enhance member experience by promoting cooperative difference positively, answering questions and addressing concerns as they arise
- Recommend new products or innovative energy solutions to meet members' needs
- Escalate issues and questions to other departments, as necessary
- Other projects and administrative tasks as requested
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, call center, or a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with customers and team members
