Summary:
Member Services Specialists are the first point of contact for youth, families/caregivers, and Providers accessing the System of Care.
Responsibilities:
+ Answer all calls within a specific service level agreement
+ Complete the registration process
+ Explain procedures for accessing services to Members
+ Manage questions from treatment Providers
+ Determine the appropriate routing of the call and attempt to be the first point of resolution
+ Maintain consistent procedures
+ Provide outstanding customer service
* Will rotate holiday coverage *
Education/Experience:
+ Qualified candidates must be local to Robbinsville, New Jersey
+ Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required
+ Associate's Degree or higher preferred
+ With an Associate's Degree, a minimum of one (1) year of current/recent mental health and/or human services experience required; or equivalent background and experience that would translate well into this position
+ Without an Associate's Degree, a minimum of two (2) years of current/recent mental health and/or human services experience required; or equivalent background and experience that would translate well into this position
+ Minimum one (1) year of current/recent Behavioral Health experience preferred
+ Call Center experience with high call volume
+ Ability to respond sensitively to Member’s (youth, families/caregivers) and Provider's requests
+ Ability to effectively communicate (listening, verbal, and written) with Members, and all internal and external customers
+ Working knowledge of MS Office applications
+ Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
