Role Overview:
The Member Services Specialist at Sawgrass Country Club is responsible for fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for members and guests. This role requires a professional appearance, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Member Interaction: Assist with Welcome meetings, coordinate vetting interviews, and organize membership events and mixers.
- Profile Management: Update and maintain member profiles in the JONAS system, including creating new profiles and distributing new member certificates.
- Administrative Duties: Manage the Up for Sale waitlist, process equity refunds, and assist with monthly membership reports. Be knowledgeable of club information, activities, and bylaws. Complete special projects, as directed.
- Communication: Answer membership questions, represent the Member Services Department, and direct calls from the main phone line.
- Support Services: Act as a Gate Keeper for the Administrative offices, cover the Concierge desk as needed, and assist the Membership department in various projects.
- Professional Standards: Maintain a professional appearance, uphold high standards for safety and security, and ensure continuous communication between the Club and its members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position
- Club/Membership experience a plus
- College degree preferred
- Hospitality experience required
- Able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong Customer Service aptitude and willingness to go the extra mile to satisfy members.
- Professional presentation always.

- Proficient Computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite to include, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
