As a Membership Sales Advisor you are a Catalyst Fitness brand ambassador. You are passionate about living a healthy lifestyle through fitness and wellness, and excited about helping others by encouraging their potential.
Title: Membership Sales Advisor - Leads by example. Takes pride in consistently performing ordinary jobs extraordinarily well. Acts as an influencer and educator.

Requirements:
Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly disposition
Motivated and Goal-Oriented.
Generate new memberships through walk-in traffic, telephone inquiries, email leads, personal and referral leads, corporate outreach, wellness fairs.
• Host events and workshops for in-club lead generation
Must be willing to work as part of a team.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
Must participate in and follow all CDC and state mandated cleaning/sanitizing and PPE protocols.
Maintain neat appearance and wear clean proper uniform with nametag during your shift. It is employee’s responsibility to maintain his/her uniform.
Willingness to learn successful techniques for onboarding new members.

• You will be expected to participate in all four daily production huddles.
• Required to complete daily sales training on the Catalyst Fitness LMS.

Move between all parts of the gym to speak with employees and members, as well as assess the appearance of the club. Maintain shift Zone assignments at required intervals.

Expectations:
Works when scheduled and adheres to our attendance policies.
Greet each member and guest promptly, enthusiastically, and with a smile.
Says “Hello” to all incoming guests and “Good-bye” to all outgoing guests.
Provide control to the front door area of the facility.
Focus on membership retention when presented with cancellation requests.
Check each member into the gym using proper check-in procedures.
Monitor check-ins to identify delinquent accounts, cancelled accounts, and correct members are checking in. Contact management with any issues.
Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedure: Guest Courtesy Card and identification.
Ensure that guests and appointments are assisted by a Fitness Activator in a prompt, professional manner.
Prepare, promote, and serve shakes and drinks. Engage customers and anticipate their needs.
Process retail and concession sales.
Answer phone by the third ring in a professional and courteous manner and use proper phone greeting techniques and scripts.
Address caller inquiries via phone.
Register all telephone inquiries in the TI log in the Master Production Log.
Respond immediately to member concerns.
Make appropriate phone calls as directed.
Clean and maintain front desk and shake bar area.
Walk the floor to make sure all member rules are being followed and shift zone scheduled assignments are completed per the assigned schedule.
Follow proper opening and closing procedures.
Notify management of gym incidents that require incident reports.
Retain members through follow-up calls, in house visibility and assistance, utilizing club membership management software.
Knowledge of all club equipment for: instructing patrons on effective workout methods; club rules, general maintenance of machines, and knowledge and experience of all group exercise classes.
Assist cleaning team by helping with facility cleanliness including locker rooms and workout floor, offices and front desk cleaning per shift zone scheduled assignments.
Assist General Manager with membership concerns: late and service fee questions, contract issues, general club issues, keeping positive energy within member base.
Help generate non-dues revenue through scheduling PT appointments for new and current members, offering our shake bar amenities to reward current members, introducing members to group exercise classes.
Assists with operations of the club.
Attends all team meetings as directed.
Cell phones will be put into the drawer at the start of shift and may be checked during breaks. Use of personal cell phones is prohibited at the front desk.
Logs all maintenance concerns that are reported.
Perform other duties as directed by management.
Employees are expected to adhere to company policies and guidelines as set forth in the company handbook and manuals.
Candidate must be willing to work at any Catalyst Location and have transportation.
