General Summary: The Membership Sales Representative will contribute and generate revenue for the club through honest and enthusiastic membership sales and services. Responsibilities include participating in promotions inside and outside of the club; building relationships with members that add value to their membership and enhance their sense of belonging and community within the club; creating membership solutions for prospects; prospecting and identifying opportunities for new customers through direct marketing, generating leads and securing membership referrals; and handling customer service issues and membership maintenance items as needed or directed. A successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in sales and have the drive and ability to turn opportunities into profitable sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide effective membership tours to prospects and present a membership solution to match their wellness needs.
- Generate new sales by making a minimum of 50 direct sales calls per day and setting a minimum of 3 appointments per day.
- Meet weekly, monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
- Prepare and submit weekly sales reports to management.
- Listen to and read relevant sales materials as well as attend weekly sales meetings to enhance performance.
- Provide a high level of customer service and effectively address member and guest questions and concerns.
- Provide all aspects of membership agreement service including new memberships, add-ons, freezes, and cancellations.
- Work as a team to provide leadership to staff and help ensure the club’s smooth and profitable operation.
- Attend all member events, open houses, and social functions and outside trade shows as assigned.
- Complete all membership paperwork accurately and promptly for processing.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and able to multi-task.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently as well coordinate sales effort with team and other departments.
- Have proven work experience as a sales representative.
- Must have at least one year of sales experience.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks; competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook and experience with CRM software preferred.
Compensation:
Base Salary & Commissions
Hours/Days Expected to Work per Week:
40 hours per week, nights and weekends required
