Sportsplex is Orange County, New York's premier multi-sports health club, located in the heart of the Hudson Valley. We are a state-of-the-art fitness facility that offers robust programming for all ages; this includes one-on-one & small group training, health coaching, group exercise, swimming, tennis and more. In addition, we have an outstanding child center that offers year-round preschool programs, and holiday and summer camps. What you will be doing:
- Provide effective membership tours to prospective members and guests
- Utilize a systematic sales process to sell memberships
- Generate sales referrals
- Participate in community outreach events
- Meet required mid-month, monthly and yearly goals
- Play an essential roll in onboarding new members and helping them achieve their goals
- Other duties as assigned
You will thrive in this role if you:
- Are a highly motivated team player; exhibit a positive attitude with the sales team and all departments
- Are tech savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Social Media
- Have excellent written, communication and organizational skills
- Have exceptional customer service skills
Essential Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
- Sales experience: one to two years
- Proven track record of closing sales
- Health and fitness-minded
- Flexibility with work hours; i.e. days, evenings, and weekends.
- Must fulfill requirements to successfully complete American Red Cross CPR/AED certification
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary starting at 35K/$16-18 per hour, plus commission & bonus incentives
