✨What You’ll Do:
- Assist the Life Enrichment Director in planning, organizing, and leading a variety of daily activities designed to promote social engagement, physical wellness, and mental stimulation
- Create and Update the monthly activity calendar and community newsletter with exciting events, outings, and opportunities for resident engagement
- Coordinate Special Events and Programs, including arts and crafts, fitness classes, music, educational activities, and group outings
- Get Behind the Wheel: Occasionally drive the community van for resident outings to local attractions, shopping trips, and scenic drives
- Provide Personalized Support: Adapt activities to each resident’s interests, preferences, and abilities, promoting our holistic approach to person-centered care
- Ensure Safety and Comfort: Uphold resident dignity, privacy, and safety during all interactions and activities, following standard precautions and infection control procedures
- Stay Informed: Complete all required state training upon hire and annually to ensure compliance and continued professional growth
✨What You Bring to the Role:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills for word processing and creating activity materials
- Clear and effective communication skills in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
- A genuine passion for working with seniors and improving their quality of life
- Ability to pass a State Criminal Background Check and provide required health screening reports (LIC 503)
- Willingness to undergo ongoing training to meet state regulations and community standards
✨Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license (if required to drive the community van)
- Ability to lift and assist residents, and perform physical tasks related to setting up activities
- A positive attitude, team spirit, and a heart for service
