As an Acute Behavioral Services Manager, Director Level Equivalent, you are responsible for providing leadership for Dungarvin’s Acute Behavioral Services. These programs support clients served with challenging behavioral and mental health needs. In this role, you will supervise a team of mental health program directors who directly oversee the programs and staff.
Work Hours and Environment
The majority of time in this position will be spent onsite at the programs managed. Therefore, frequent travel would be required for this position.
Position begins at $69,000 annually. Position for Wright/Carver Counties
Qualifications- A minimum of 3 years of full-time experience managing other supervisors within the human services field for people with behavioral and serious persistent mental health needs, required.
- A four-year degree in behavioral science, or related field, required.
- Experience in upper management supervising other managers.
- Must have working knowledge of 245D licensing requirements.
- Designated Manager status per 245D licensing
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Current auto liability insurance with reliable transportation.
- Be at least 18 years of age; some programs require at least 21 years of age on up.
People employed in this position are expected to meet the qualifications of an unlimited driver. The definition of the driving requirement is:
Unlimited driving position -- defined as one that requires an employee to drive a motor vehicle as a part of her/his Dungarvin work, including vehicles owned or leased by Dungarvin, and/or to drive a vehicle in which a person served is transported.
