Job Summary:
Performs duties of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse to help provide the psychological, emotional and physical care and support required by each patient.

Sign-On Bonus Details and Requirements
$4,000 sign-on bonus
The sign-on bonus is not applicable to current VUMC staff or former staff who have worked for VUMC in the past twelve months. The sign-on bonus is only available for full-time positions.
Key Responsibilities
+ Provides direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
+ Carries out procedures under supervision of Registered Nurse including special precautions, Handle with Care skills and seclusion and restraint correctly and safely.
+ Documents all pertinent clinical information on a daily basis, including all unusual incidents.
+ Completes documentation for Seclusion/Restraint and Special Precautions accurately.

+ Patient Diagnosis (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience, training, direct exposure, or past experience working with patient diagnosis.
+ Environment of Care (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience or training working with set up and maintenance of patient exam rooms, supplies and equipment.
