Job Details
The Mechanical Engineer will join the Buildings Mechanical Design team, contributing to all aspects of commercial building engineering. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing HVAC systems
- Developing plumbing systems
- Creating performance-based fire protection systems
- Conducting code analysis
- Performing energy modeling
- Working with lab and medical gas systems
- Preparing LEED/Green Globes documentation
- Conducting life cycle cost analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
- 3-6+ years of mechanical engineering experience
- At least 1 year of design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
- Experience with HVAC systems design
Preferred Qualifications:
- EIT Certification
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills
