About the Job
Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Support Specialist to assist our Merchandising Team in Framingham, MA. This role will provide administrative and clerical support to 2-4 Buyers and an AVP, Merchandise Manager. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate with multiple vendors, manage purchase orders, and coordinate travel and meetings for the team. Assignment Type: Temporary
Work Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: Pay Rate: $23 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Purchase Orders Management
Prepare and write domestic and import purchase orders.
Enter, review, and revise electronic POs using the Buyer Worksheet application.
Monitor and update purchase order changes daily.
Follow up on allocations and manage late vendor shipments.
Vendor and Internal Communications
Communicate with approximately 50+ vendors to support the buyers.
Coordinate between merchants, internal departments, and external contacts to ensure smooth operations.
Interface with all levels of management and provide cross-functional support to other merchandising assistants.
Administrative Coordination
Arrange travel accommodations for buyers and merchandise managers.
Set up vendor and agent visits at the home office.
Create and maintain spreadsheets to track weekly spend for merchants.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with internal teams and external vendors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (or similar software) for tracking and reporting.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Prior experience in administrative support, merchandising, or purchasing is preferred.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
