Merchandising Operations Specialist - Essense of Australia, Inc.

The Role

We are searching for a highly detail oriented and experienced Merchandising Operations Specialist to join our Merchandising Operations Team. The individual in this role will be responsible for strategically allocating bridal gown samples for testing trunk shows, photoshoots, influencer requests and markets using sales data and other key attributes. This role requires exceptional attention to detail as well as the ability to easily work with multiple departments, as it is critical to the testing process and collection launch process.

This is a hybrid role, working 2 days remotely (Monday and Friday) and 3 days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) each week.

What We Expect

• Strategically allocate samples to testing shows utilizing sales data, regionality, silhouettes and other key attributes for all shows—domestic and international.
• Coordinate samples going to bridal markets by partnering with Merchandising Logistics, Events and Product Operations, Trunk Show Operations and Sales.
• Lead sample allocation with Marketing and Merchandising Logistics to ensure timely, organized allocation of samples to influencers and photoshoots.
• Implement weekly reviews to ensure information is accurate as style information changes.
• Document and maintain the photoshoot and influencer documentation to ensure the correct versions of each sample are allocated.
• Input, review and maintain with 100% accuracy all style data into customer facing documents such as price lists and other customer facing documents as well as into sales team collection launch selling tools.
• Assist the Sr. Merchandising Operations Specialist (SMOS) to ensure all projects are time lined, project managed and completed to deadlines utilizing Project Managements software.
• Continually communicate with the SMOS on project statuses and any potential deadline issues.
• Seasonally update process documentation as processes evolve and are created to better streamline department functions.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor of Arts in Apparel, Fashion, Logistics, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Operations or related degree; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 3 years’ professional office experience in product lifecycle or merchandising, preferably in fashion or apparel related environments preferred.
• Microsoft Excel experience with basic functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX, and other basic formulas. Higher level Excel skills are beneficial and would be highly considered.
• Experience with Inventory Planning preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve goals through individual contributions as well as teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a challenging, dynamic environment where multi-tasking and adaptability are a requirement.
• Have the flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed.
