Join our M&A Integration Team! We are looking for a talented M&A Integration Sr. Manager to assist our company in integrating newly acquired companies. This is a remote work position with some travel involved.
The Senior Manager of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Integration will coordinate the pre- and post-merger activities of the company working directly with operations, business development, marketing, human resources, accounting and Information Technology (IT) departments, as well as the leadership of companies being acquired to successfully integrate acquired companies into Rimkus.
The Senior Manager of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Integration leads M&A integration projects end-to-end to ensure they meet all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, applying developed subject matter knowledge to solve business issues and drive value; also plays a critical role in furthering and scaling cross-functional integration practices through structured methodology development and process.
Responsibilities:- Project planning and execution/management – manage development and execution of the pre- and post-merger integration plan, risk management and issues/action resolution, program communication and reporting to stakeholder.
- Lead planning sessions and solution workshops to gather requirements, devise recommendations, and accelerate integration decision-making.
- Set up and administer project infrastructure and management tools for efficient and scalable tracking of multiple, simultaneous, complex M&A projects.
- Apply developed subject matter knowledge to actively engage in team conversations and help solve business issues.
- Work directly with all functions across the company to craft and implement repeatable and scalable acquisitions integration processes to deliver expected deal outcomes.
- Establish and update/revise standards and core practices with lessons learned from each acquisition.
- Use your skillset and influence as integration process/methodology owner and caretaker; advise team on how best to apply, customize, streamline and evolve cross-functional methodology.
- Assist in creation of content for and ongoing maintenance of/process surrounding playbooks and templates for company organizational learning, scalability, and continual improvement.
- Create tools and processes to monitor and signal process adherence and master data gaps to drive adherence to process.
Required Education and Certifications
- 4-year college degree.
- 10 years’ experience with 7+ years’ experience in related to pre/post integration activities related to M&A.
- Preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication skills able to reach across the various functional departments to facilitate seamless integration.
- Experience facilitating/leading meetings and planning workshops with both internal departments and leaders of companies being acquired for the purpose of planning and finding solutions to business challenges to align the team.
- Excellent written skills to effectively communicate across various departments.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and preferably Microsoft Project for analyzing, organizing, visualizing, tracking, reporting and communicating.
Physical Demands, Overtime, and Travel Requirements
Physical Demands - Work is performed primarily in an office or business setting. While performing this job, employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, hear, and talk. Employee may lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Clear vision and depth perception are also necessary.
Overtime - This position is classified as salaried with an exempt FLSA status. Regular working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with one hour for lunch. There will be periods where overtime will be required, which the employee will need to comply with in order to meet the demands of the position.
Travel Requirements - Moderate travel (up to 25% local and national) is expected for this position.
