Metal Fabrication Specialist - Spherion

Spherion Staffing has an opportunity in Lake Park, MN for a Metal Fabrication Specialist. This role involves interpreting blueprints, using a variety of tools and machinery, and applying advanced welding and fabrication techniques to produce high-quality metal products.

Pay: $25-30/hour DOE
Monday-Friday 8 am-4 pm
Direct Hire Opportunity

Responsibilities:
-Set up and operate CNC Lathes and Routers to produce precision metal parts according to blueprints and specifications
-Fabricate metal using various tools and equipment, including saws, shears, and press brakes
-Perform welding tasks, including TIG welding and aluminum spool gun welding.
-Read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications
-Collaborate with other team members to optimize processes and meet project requirements
-Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety guidelines and protocols

Qualifications:
-Proven experience in CNC machining, metal fabrication, and welding
-Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications
-Knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and operation
-Strong welding skills, including TIG welding and aluminum spool gun welding
-Familiarity with a variety of metalworking tools and equipment
-Attention to detail, precision, and commitment to quality
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
-Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
-Willingness to undergo training and stay updated on industry advancements
