Primary Purpose:
A metals coordinator will be responsible for managing the metal inventory, material transaction and metal formulation for the Master Melt department at PCT. This will include monthly metal inventories, tracking of materials, creating heat sheets, and material transactions.

Primary Purpose:
A metals coordinator will be responsible for managing the metal inventory, material transaction and metal formulation for the Master Melt department at PCT. This will include monthly metal inventories, tracking of materials, creating heat sheets, and material transactions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monthly metal inventory, and organization of materials for Casting and Master Melt in coordination with operations.
- Requires individual to be organized and efficient with tasks and duties and requires an attention to details and ability to work as a team member.
- Create heats sheets for master melt with guidance from Process Engineer-Metal Formulator for material usage targets and chemistry targets.
- Responible for material transactions for Master Melt and material transfers.
- Responsible for material release for Master Melt and Casting.
- Planning master weekly schedule with guidance from Process Engineer-Metal Formulator.
- Management of weekly metals meeting data.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in material handling, material release and logistics preferred
- The physical effort applied in this job includes lifting, pulling, reaching, manipulating, carrying, pushing, and shoveling
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Regular and reliable punctuality and attendance is an essential function of this position
- Able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to withstand long periods of standing and walking
- HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possesses relevant experience will be considered
- Solid job history including more than 3 years at current or recent employer
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be willing to participate in pre-employment drug screening
- Must take a base line hearing test prior to starting
Work Conditions:
- The job is performed under reasonably good working conditions with routine exposure to noise, temperature, and machinery.
Schedule:
- Day S hift (5x8 M-F) with overtime available based on business needs.
