Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and validate calibration procedures and measurement uncertainties for various electrical and electronic instruments and devices, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
- Authorize and maintain metrological standards, policies, and guidelines.
- Assist Keysight global laboratories with standard compliance; identify root causes of audit findings and provide effective solutions.
- Support Keysight global laboratories in expanding and upgrading calibration and measurement capabilities (CMCs) for instruments such as network analyzers, power meters, and frequency counters.
- Act as a metrology leader for various Keysight projects.
- Promote metrology consistency worldwide.
Qualified candidates can work from any global location with a major Keysight Global Services Organization (KGSO) R&D team. The preferred location is Santa Rosa, CA, USA, but we can also accommodate Beijing, China, or Penang, Malaysia.
Qualifications:Must:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Broad and in-depth knowledge of electronic measurement in multiple fields, including DC, LF, RF, microwave, and millimeter wave.
- Proficiency in estimating and improving measurement uncertainty in accordance with the GUM method, using both analytical derivation and numerical simulation.
- Independent learner and team player; self-driven and results oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize; flexible to work in an international team.
- Fluent verbal and written communication in English.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with metrology standards (such as ISO 17025, ILAC G8, and Z540.3) and the calibration laboratory accreditation and assessment process.
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
- Experience with analysis tools such as Matlab, C#, Python, etc
Pay Range:
USD $117,750.00 - USD $196,250.00 Year
Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
