A Day in the Life of a Metrology Technician:
As a Metrology Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our products. You will:
- Inspect and Measure parts using advanced equipment such as laser trackers, scanners, CMMs, and arms to ensure they meet strict aerospace and defense specifications.
- Interpret Blueprints and Designs to ensure dimensional compliance.
- Convert Data: Use your modeling skills to generate solid models that are compatible with CAM software.
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists, providing training and guidance when needed.
- Maintain Precision: Use your attention to detail to keep operations running smoothly and help maintain a high standard of quality throughout the inspection process.

What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 3+ years of reverse engineering experience
- Technical Skills: Experience with laser tracking (Leica or Faro), CAD software, 3D measurements using lasers, scanners, CMM, and arms
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with SolidWorks, Spatial Analyzer, Polyworks, Mastercam, Verisurf, Xcell, and Faro Software
- Blueprint Knowledge: Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and inspection procedures
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate effectively with a team
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and solve problems, maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
