Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain semiconductor equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on equipment support.
- Drive all phases of the capital acquisition process from concept through decommission.
- Build a support model for an equipment set, including training, spares, service contracts and PM schedules.
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
- Drive equipment improvements and automation projects.
- Collaborate closely with process engineers and operators to support both volume production and R&D process development.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- 6 years of experience on Applied Materials Endura or Centura platforms as a manufacturing or field service engineer.
- BA/BS degree in engineering or closely related field.
- Strong project management experience in a technical setting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and solve complex problems.
- Ability to learn on the job and work with cutting-edge technologies and processes.
- Desire to work in a highly technical organization with a strong and inclusive team.
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
- 10+ years of experience on Applied Materials Endura or Centura platforms as a manufacturing or field service engineer.
- MS degree in engineering.
- Experience working across disciplines including mechanics, electronics, materials science, chemistry.
- Experience handling chemistry and working with hazardous production materials (HPMs) in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with contractors and managing facilities projects (plumbing, electrical, general).
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing techniques is highly desired.
- Proficiency with CAD software (Solidworks, Siemens NX, CREO, etc.).
- Experience as a qualified electrical worker.
This critical role will be based at our headquarters in Santa Rosa, CA.
Pay Range:
USD $119,610.00 - USD $199,340.00 Year
Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
