MFM Sonographer Educator II - Harris Health System

JOB SUMMARY: To perform high-quality diagnostic sonography and deliver high-quality patient care utilizing knowledge and judgement in regards to image technique within the scope of maternal-fetal medicine. A sonographer educator is also expected to regularly participate in the educational objectives of the learners that regularly rotate through the unit.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
a.Graduate of an accredited medical sonography program
b.ARDMS registered and have a minimum of 3000 clinical hours of ultrasound training.
c.Passed ARDMS Ob/Gyn specialty exam

Work Experience (Years and Area):
a.4 years of MFM ultrasound scanning experience
b.Cervical length certification

Equipment Operated:
Ultrasound scanners, PACS, RIS and related clinical equipment
