Location: Detroit (Hybrid)

Purpose
Provide technical support for EDDI migration to Edifecs for Managed File Transfer
 
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience –

• Experience with the support of file transfer systems. Protocols including SSH, FTP, SFTP, FTPS, Email, SMTP, SMB, GPG, HTTP(s), and cron
• 3 years of experience with Linux or unix
• Help desk and other relevant experiences highlighting customer interactions, communications skills, and interactions with managed services providers

 
Required Skills/Experience – The rest of the required skills/experience.  Include:   

• Strong ability to review and understand technical documentation.
• Experience with Web Servers, CGI, SQL, unix command line interface and shell scripting
• Ability to review and analyze operational specifications for managed services providers; Edifecs preferred.

 
Preferred Skills/Experience – Optional but preferred skills/experience.  Include:  

• Written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with system users and other technical colleagues.
• Experience managing operational systems, including the ability to analyze system logs to assess operational issues
• Experience specifying and managing implementation requirements for managed services providers

 
Education/Certifications – Include:  

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
