About the role
The HR Operations Manager is responsible for owning and maintaining various HR policies, processes and programs with a focus on streamlining, automating and driving operational improvements of HR services. Reporting to the Sr Director HR Transformation and Talent, this is a new role within the HR organization to create, build and own an HR Operations/Shared Services Center which enables HR to support the strategy and growth of the organization. The successful incumbent will be a self-starter that thrives in this exciting transformational environment where they can drive change and shape the role into a successful and critical part of the HR organization.
Work Location: Morristown, NJ
Work Schedule: 3 days in office/ 2 days from home

About the role
The HR Operations Manager is responsible for owning and maintaining various HR policies, processes and programs with a focus on streamlining, automating and driving operational improvements of HR services. Position Responsibilities:
- Acts as a subject matter expert, supporting the HR team on various processes aligned to HR systems, procedures, and reporting. Owner of processes not owned by the HR Centers of Excellent (COEs), while partnering closely with the COEs.
- Identifies opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, with a focus on automation and improving the employee experience.
- Responsible for the maintenance and communication of HR policies and procedures. Ensures development of policies and procedures where new needs arise. Ensures HR policies and practices comply with applicable employment laws and regulations, and ensures compliance with reporting.
- Define and manage the SOPs for HR transactions executed across the employee life cycle.
- Supports HR Transformation projects and partners closely with the HRMS team to test and create documentation, SOPs, job aids, and other materials.
- Manages audits for the HR teams, pulling in the relevant parties where applicable to support.
- Acts as the main HR point of contact for the commercial teams for supporting customer surveys.
- Supports the teams with HR analytics and reporting, leveraging outsourced HR analytics team.
- Partners with HR functional areas and management to evolve practices and processes and/or operationalize new programs.
- Manages HR intranet site, SharePoint and other central repositories for documentation.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years experience in HR Operations or related fields
- Autonomous, self-disciplined, proactive, and solutions-focused with experience thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Self-starter who is comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking ownership, building connections, and learning new concepts
- Excellent organization skills
- Strong understanding of human resource principles, policies and practices
- Maintains confidentiality and high ethical standards
- Experience with Lean management principles preferred
- Experience with Workday preferred
