The Impact You’ll Make
Directs the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plans and administers procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations and at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
What You’ll Do
- Prioritizes 24/7 production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
- Strategic thinking focused to increase productivity through support and leadership of people, process and technology while building for the future of manufacturing.
- Delegates work as necessary to remain strategic even during ramp up or busy times.
- May plan or administer budgetary recommendations, control group level expenditures and direct/indirect labor staffing levels.
- Manage, coach and mentor team members.
- Select, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operations of the function and to create a high performing team.
- Adheres and holds other accountable to safety regulations.
Who We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 4 years of related management experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
- Operations management experience required
- Knowledge of Lean Principles

Database software, Microsoft Office Suite, Enterprise Systems
- Previous experience in the high-tech industry preferred

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
