Achieves assigned district goals through the effective management of a sales team. Plans, executes and oversees sales activities.
To plan, organize, direct and control sales services, programs and departmental planning functions to meet corporate objectives. Responsible for achievement of Sales organization goals through the effective development and management of a business analytics/project management team. May personally call on selected accounts as required. Provides daily leadership and guidance in the following areas:
Essential Functions
- Provide daily leadership and guidance in the areas of training, coaching and development.
- Call on selected accounts with sales representatives.
- Strong basic management, human relations and communications skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Duties:
- Business Analytics including, but not limited to, Sales and Sales pipeline reporting, value quantification tools, pitch deck development, pricing analysis, contract negotiation and processing;
- Sales Organization Support including, but not limited to, territory management, compensation, incentives, customer alignment and Sales training development and delivery;
- Sales Process Management including, but not limited to, continuous improvement of Sales process/strategy, alignment with key internal and external partners (e.g., legal, pricing, etc.), introduction of new tools and technologies to advance selling process and other special projects as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge Considered a plus:
- Experience managing teams of technical/analytical professionals working in the domain of supply chain and logistics
- Demonstrated expertise in the fields of Global supply chain management, Digital innovation in logistics, Data analytics, Customer-facing technical selling
- Strong project management experience including leadership of complex, multi-organizational projects with executive visibility
- Detailed knowledge of all facets of global supply chain including fulfillment, customs clearance, air/trucking networks, last mile, reverse logistics and information systems
- Experience working directly with or presenting to executive leadership on topics associated with supply chain strategy/optimization
- Graduate level education in a quantitative discipline such as economics, information systems, statistics, mathematics, etc.
- Direct knowledge or experience with Sales processes including territory, pipeline and call-cycle management, customer support/interaction and contract negotiations
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent. Five (5) years directly related experience in a customer service industry, including three (3) years in a planning and/or operational environment. Knowledge of segment marketing, campaign development and features of service. Strong basic management, human relations and communication skills.

Minimum Experience
Five (5) years experience in commercial/ industrial sales, or two (2) years sales management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing team of professionals working in supply chain and logistics. Demonstrated expertise in Global supply chain management,Digital innovation in logistics, Data analytics, Customer-facing technical selling and project management.

Additional Details: This is a hybrid position in Plano, TX; Memphis, TN; Pittsburgh, PA and candidates must live within a 50 mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several time per week. Deadline: 10/31/24 5:00pm CT
