Ardurrais seeking an experienced Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join our growing and dynamic team.
Primary Function:
Under general supervision, performs assignments which require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related design engineering tasks. This includes experience in utilizing various computer software packages and automated engineering and design tools.
Primary Duties:
- Design electrical systems for water treatment and wastewater treatment facilities including the development of site plans, floor plans, one-line diagrams, schedules, etc.
- Visit sites to evaluate existing electrical distribution systems and identify required improvements.
- Develop site evaluation reports.
- Develop opinion of probable construction costs for electrical projects.
- Develop preliminary design reports that identify recommended electrical modifications.
- Develop control diagrams.
- Provide design for low voltage and medium voltage distribution within a treatment facility.
- Assist in the peer review of electrical designs completed by other electrical engineers.
- Coordinate with other engineering staff including E.I.T.s and designers.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Requires 5+ years of experience in design of electrical systems for the construction industry.
- Experience in the design of electrical systems for municipal water and wastewater treatment is preferred.
- Requires a current PE license with ability to obtain NCEES record and reciprocate license in other states.
