• Lead your own band of merry scientists in epic quests for air, soil vapor, soil, and groundwater samples. Be the rock star of geologic logging, interpreting both unconsolidated sediments and bedrock like a pro!
• Channel your inner environmental superhero by developing remedial approaches for soil and groundwater impact. Craft feasibility studies, removal action work plans, and remediation design plans that would make Captain Planet proud!
• Become a data detective, interpreting and recording findings with the precision of {NAME}. Ensure your discoveries comply with local, state, and federal regulations – it's like solving a thrilling environmental puzzle!
• Unleash your inner wordsmith by penning captivating reports, including Part 213 Final Assessment Reports, Closure Reports, Environmental License Agreements, and Public Highway Institutional Controls. Who said paperwork can't be fun?
• Flex your creative muscles by preparing work plans, cost estimates, and proposals that will make clients say "Wow!" Compile and analyze data like a master chef creating a gourmet meal of environmental insights.
• Become the ringmaster of your own environmental circus, directing and overseeing a variety of talented performers – from laboratory wizards to drilling experts and excavation maestros.
• Play the role of environmental diplomat, liaising with site facilities, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders. It's like hosting the most interesting cocktail party ever!
• Be the guardian of safety by creating health and safety plans and spotting hazards like a hawk. Think of it as being the superhero sidekick to your team's safety!
• Polish your people skills until they shine brighter than a polished geode. You'll be the smooth-talking, charismatic face of the project when meeting clients, regulatory case managers, colleagues, and sub-contractors alike.

Minimum Requirements

• B.S. in the geology, environmental sciences, environmental engineering or related field and a minimum 4+ years of experience in environmental remediation consulting industry (private or public), with at least 2 years of task management/project management experience.
• US Citizen
• This role is subject to a background check, MVR check, Dru/Alcohol check, and enrollment in a Medical Surveillance program 

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• 6+ years of experience in environmental remediation consulting industry (private or public).
• Part 213 experience
• Able to obtain PE or PG certification within 12 months of accepting position (if applicable).
• Experience working on environmental remediation projects including field sampling, data analysis, report writing, task management, cost estimate and proposal development, project implementation and execution.
• Experience implementing rigorous safety standards and ensuring compliance.
• Experience working within a dynamic team framework, in-person, and virtual settings.
• Experience with environmental remediation systems (SVE, Excavation, ISCO, etc.).
• Experience implementing various remedial strategies to achieve No Further Remediation (in-situ remediation, institutional, engineering, and administrative controls).
• Strong research and report writing (including web-based research).
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Strong quality and time management.
• Self-starter, develops and delivers work under own initiative.
• Solid attention to detail and thorough approach to work.
• Interest in performing various business development activities.
