As a full-time Mid-Level Practitioner - Wound Care Specialist, you will work Monday-Friday. You'll report to a central location each day before heading to your job site or service area, giving you a structured yet dynamic work routine.
WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?
As a Mid-Level Practitioner - Wound Care Specialist, you will start your day by reporting to a central location and then heading out to your designated service area. Your day will be spent conducting comprehensive assessments for patients with both acute and chronic wounds. You'll develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs, closely monitor healing progress, and adjust care as necessary. Collaboration is key-you'll work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. Additionally, you'll educate patients and their families on wound prevention and self-care techniques.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A MID-LEVEL PRACTITIONER - WOUND CARE SPECIALIST?
Master's or doctorate in nursing, with a specialization as a nurse practitioner
Current state NP license and certification OR graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Experience as a nurse practitioner or PA with a focus on wound care is a huge plus! The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team is also ideal!
