Description
- Client's Planning Technology and Business Services Management group requires a resource for financial and business analysis, reporting and capital accounting.
- These resources are needed to assist the team with Capital financial analysis, reporting required for the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), capital accounting research and other general financial analysis for capital programs and projects.
- Candidates must have experience in business analysis, financial analysis, capital accounting, as well as some experience in Project Management.
- They must have a financial background and advanced Excel skills and be very detailed oriented.
- They must also have PowerPoint experience.
Duties
- Using Excel and Pivot tables, assists with analysis and reporting function through development and maintenance of various lists, reports and presentations.
- They will collect data and perform data analysis so that the data can then be used to solve business problems or presented in reports and presentations to solve various business needs.
- They will use data from client's financial systems and MS Project Server (MS Project) and individuals (PD's) at client for technology projects, organizing and performing analysis in order to complete reports and data files.
- The candidate must be able work with a variety of key stakeholders, retrieve and assemble the required data from Business Solution Officers (BSO's), Program Directors (PD's), Project Managers and sometimes from multiple cross-functional project teams.
- Also must ensure deliverables are of high quality and that the reports are kept current.
- The person must be a skilled communicator, both written and spoken.
