Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- Experience with performing systems engineering processes, procedures, and best practices
- Experience with developing equipment and network configurations and identifying and proposing solutions to technology gaps
- Experience with coordinating technology insertion efforts and supporting technology insertion testing efforts
- Knowledge of tactical and strategic military communications networks, architecture, protocols, security, network management, and physics underlying these systems
- Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with Army leadership, programs, working groups, non-technical audiences, logistics personnel, and peers to ensure interoperability with the Increment 1 Program of Record baseline
- Ability to support technical tasks in the integration of Data, Voice, Video, and Telephony in the WIN-T INC1 Networks, including engineering and technical documentation, development of technical requirements, specifications, plans and reports, software and hardware engineering, test and evaluation, and quality engineering
- Ability to understand military doctrine and how tactical network capabilities can be layered on top of that doctrine
- Ability to identify system architectures in support of Operational Needs Statements (ONS) that are compatible with the current tactical communication systems
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Information Technology, or Science, or 6+ years of experience with systems engineering in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with reviewing Government performance work statements and contractor proposals for technical accuracy to ensure requirements are met
- Experience with Visio, Broadband Premises Technician, and delivering presentations
- Knowledge of DODAF, Integrated Support Plan (ISP), and Support Engineering Plan (SEP)
- Knowledge of Converged Ethernet Over IP (EOIP) network
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree
