Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom instruction differentiated for each student's learning needs and in accordance with IEP goals.
• Case management for students on caseload.
• Set up, facilitate, and write legally compliant/defensible IEPs.
• Conduct formal assessments.
• Attend SPED trainings as requested.
• Collaborate and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.
• Manage, train, and support assigned paraeducators.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or similar.
• Current CA Moderate/Severe credential.
• CLAD and AAS authorizations.
• Minimum 3-5 years of current school district teaching experience.
