Midlevel General Liability Defense Attorney

Our client is a well-established law firm with a strong civil litigation defense practice in California, known for providing top-notch legal services to its clients. The firm is currently seeking a skilled and driven Midlevel General Liability Defense Attorney to join their team remotely. This is a unique opportunity for a talented attorney to advance their career while working from anywhere, in a collaborative and forward-thinking legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a caseload of general liability defense matters, including areas such as premises liability, personal injury, auto/trucking accidents, habitability, and construction defect cases.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations, and participate in trials when necessary.
• Provide strategic legal counsel and advocacy on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to case strategy and planning.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5-7 years of general liability defense experience.
• Must be Bar licensed in California, in good standing
• Ability to work remotely with excellent self-management skills.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a remote setting.
