Job Description:

Our client is seeking a smart, imaginative, and hard-working Midlevel Private Equity Associate to join their team in the Charleston, Charlotte, Pittsburgh, or Raleigh offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on corporate aspects of private equity transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and the management of Private Equity portfolio companies.
• Collaborate with national and international clients, providing high-quality legal services across a variety of industry sectors.
• Work closely with experienced lawyers, engaging in active mentoring and gradually assuming increased levels of responsibility and client contact.
• Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to meet client needs.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• 3 to 6 years of private equity experience, particularly in corporate transactions.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Compensation:

Base compensation ranges from $225,000 to $370,000 per year, determined during the interview process based on factors such as prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market conditions.
