Shift: Monday - Saturday, 6:00 am - 4:00 pm (45 - 50 hours per week)

Company Overview:

Our client specializes in creating custom steel fabrications for various industries. Known for their precision, quality, and exceptional craftsmanship, they are expanding to meet growing demand. They are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder with Flex Core experience and certification in 045 to contribute to their high-performing team.

Position Overview:

The MIG Welder will focus on performing high-quality welding tasks, primarily using MIG and Flex Core welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have significant experience running beads and handling sheet metal projects. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential qualities for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding tasks on various structural steel components using 045 wire.
• Weld with Flux Core, Dual Shield Wire maintain precision accuracy and speed.
• Run consistent, clean weld beads in line with project specifications and industry standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure weld quality.
• Inspect welds for quality control, ensuring proper dimensions and tolerances are met.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Assist in other fabrication tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder, with Flux Core Dual Shield welding experience.
• Certification in 045 welding is required.
• Ability to run consistent weld beads and work with different types of metals.
• Strong knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in steel fabrication is required.

Certifications & Licenses:

• 045 Welding Certification (required).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment as necessary.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for precision welding tasks.
