Metal Shear and Brake Operator - LaborMAX Staffing

Operate shear and brake machinery to cut and bend metal sheets to required specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine the necessary cuts and bends. Set up and adjust machines to ensure accurate and precise cutting and bending. Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or defects and make adjustments as necessary. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet the required specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and procedures.Proven experience as a Shear and Brake Operator or similar role. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Proficiency in using tape measures and other measuring tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in measurements. Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
