Growing home-based medical practice searching an experienced medical practice manager to lead multiple nurse practitioner and medical assistant care teams located throughout Georgia, South Carolina, and Illinois.

Job Summary:
The Practice Manager is responsible for ensuring the planning, organizing, assigning and directing daily patient care delivery operations. This includes inventory, fleet management, financial management, reporting and compliance for all mobile care teams and stations within their area of responsibility. The successful candidate will have basic knowledge of personnel management and excellent communication skills. Ambulatory/OP Medical Practice management required. Five years’ experience preferred.
Leadership Responsibilities:
Daily duties for the Practice Manager may consist of but not be limited to:
- The Practice Manager is responsible for the daily operations and success of their respective areas. Ensure the operational pillars (people, vehicles, equipment, and control) are fulfilled and functional.
- The Practice Manager establishes, monitors, and reports on key performance indicators.
- The Practice Manager must demonstrate the ability to think quickly and accurately during times of crisis while remaining positive and focused. They earn the trust and respect of senior management, administrative departments as well as fellow associates and Providers by taking the initiative to develop policies and procedures to create new and/or improve current practices as related to Mobile Integrated Healthcare care delivery, staffing, and inventory management.
- Responsible for recruiting, training, and managing all associates for their respective area including staff mentorship, counseling, and development.
- Understands and uses electronic medical record (EMR) and other necessary software to complete respective responsibilities.
- The Practice Manager has 24/7 responsibility and is expected to be accessible by phone, text, and email as needed. Unavailable time will be prescheduled and approved.
- Ensure regulations, policies, and standards are followed including ensuring licensure/credentialing is maintained by staff.
- Individuals must have strong, effective interpersonal skills and be able to teach and develop the MIH team.
- Demonstrates high quality customer service and consistent professionalism. Ensures subordinate team also meets same standards.
- Individuals should have knowledge of relevant equipment, policies and procedures.
- It is essential for the Practice Manager to have strong negotiation skills, be creative, flexible, and innovative in adapting the program to changing customer needs.
- The Practice Manager will be expected to collaborate with all team members and keep the entire management team informed on activities within the group.
- Facilitates reconciliation rather than divisiveness among individuals.
- Monitor driving behaviors of subordinate personnel.
- Overnight travel to AMIH’s Georgia locations occasionally. Multi-day out of state travel may be required on a quarterly basis or more frequently during periods of new market launches.

Education and Experience:
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and have a good driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) preferred or must have 5 years of healthcare supervisory or managerial experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to talk constantly in person, on the phone, or virtually.
- Must have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection of small writing and/or operation of office machines and patient care related equipment.
- Must be able to speak and read English proficiently.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position constantly (approximately 80% of the time)
- Must be able to type or write constantly (approximately 15% of the time)
- Frequently communicates with patients, medical providers and facility staff. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Must be able to grasp paperwork and or small equipment.
