NOW HIRING A Sales Expeditor:
As a sales expeditor, you will be the key point of contact for our customers, work directly with salesmen, and be responsible for managing sales orders including inputting, setting delivery dates for orders, and receiving products into the computer system. Along with providing product information, responding in a timely manner, and communicating effectively with vendors, sales expeditors will build lasting relationships. Your role will involve working closely with our clients, outside and inside sales teams, and vendors to provide tailored solutions and ensure a seamless sale.

What will I do?
- Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
- Product Expertise: Provide detailed information and guidance on our range of building products, install sales, and services, ensuring customers, vendors & sales teams receive the best solutions for their projects.
- Order Management: Input quotes and orders, set delivery dates, receive products into the system, organize files for each customer/job, problem solve, and source materials when needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, locations & vendors to ensure proper customer service.
Position requirements:
- Previous experience in inside sales, ideally in the lumber or construction industry, is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with lumber products, building materials, or construction processes is a plus.
- Strong communication, and organization skills, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency with software like Excel, Outlook, and Word is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
