Job Overview:The Millwright installs new machines or heavy equipment, and dismantles and installs machines or heavy equipment when changes in the plant layout are required. Work involves most of the following: planning and laying out work; interpreting blueprints or other specifications, using a variety of hand tools and rigging; making standard shop computations relating to stresses, strength of materials, and centers of gravity, aligning and balancing equipment, selecting standard tools, equipment and parts to be used, and installing and maintaining in good order power transmission equipment such as drives and speed reducers. In general, the Millwright's work normally requires a rounded training and experience in the trade acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.

Pay Rate: $46.30/hourly
Responsibilities:Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Conduct repairs to various motors, air handling units, and other rotating equipment.
- Oversees data collection, machine condition evaluation and analysis.
- Conducts Root Cause Failure Analysis and develop solutions to prevent future failures.
- Analyzes equipment reliability and identifies appropriate means for improvement.
- Locates equipment faults and initiates immediate corrective action with the customer.
- Conduct repairs to various motors and air handler units.
- Assists in the development and oversight of preventative, predictive and routine maintenance programs for all assigned facilities.
- Supports other maintenance staff in the identification and/or resolution of technical issues and development of maintenance strategies and programs.
- Interfaces with Maintenance leadership to meet objectives.
- Provides engineering guidance on new technology and assists technical Services with the coordination of design changes and implementation.
- Develops reports documenting component/program issues and resolution recommendations.
- Operates customer and company owned motor vehicles and/or other equipment.
- Performs various lower classified duties such as (but not limited to) file maintenance, workspace cleanup, maintain warehouse space and telephone answering as required.
- Supports and assists other department staff and trade groups as needed or directed.
- Adheres to the established company and customer safety and personnel policies and standard operating procedures.
- Performs other duties or functions as assigned.
Mandatory:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- At least 5 years’ experience in predictive maintenance maintaining/repairing industrial machinery.
- Possess and maintain or obtain within 6 months and maintain the Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Ability to obtain Level II Thermography Analysis Certification within 6 months.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required intelligence community level clearance.
- Ability to pass pre-hire background and drug screen.
- Valid state driver’s license with suitable driving record.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and team lift 75 pounds.
