Job Title: Millwright
Location: Benicia, California
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 Months)
Job Description:
Are you a skilled Millwright with a passion for maintaining large industrial equipment? We’re looking for a dedicated professional to join our pump and turbine shop. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
+ Performing maintenance on large gas turbines and pumps.
+ Taking photos of equipment upon receipt.
+ Conducting DCI (Disassemble, Clean, and Inspect) procedures to ANSI standard.
+ Identifying issues such as case leaks or broken studs.
+ Completing the Visual Observation Form.
+ Conducting run-out checks on motors.
+ Measuring bearing fits, inspecting gears, performing clearance checks, and measuring seals.
+ Repairing, testing, and re-assembling equipment.
Hard Skills Required:
+ 5-10 years of experience with rotating equipment
+ Proficiency in disassembly and assembly.
+ Expertise in DCI (Disassemble, Clean, and Inspect).
+ Experience with ANSI Pumps
+ Experience with gas turbine maintenance.
+ Experience in large industrial maintenance environment
+ Millwright skills.
+ Generator or motor mechanic experience.
+ Pipefitting or boiler making with rigging (running chain falls).
+ Micrometer experience.
Work Environment:
+ Fully on-site position in Benicia, California.
+ Shop work starting at 6 AM, with optional start times at 4 AM or 5 AM.
+ Currently working mandatory overtime
