Established Manufacturer looking to add a Millwright to their established team!
The Millwright is responsible for installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of machinery and equipment used in manufacturing and electrical systems, equipment, appliances, and fixtures.
Essential Functions:
- Place, align, level, and attach equipment on production lines based on specifications, blueprints, or other documents, ensuring compliance and appropriate tolerances.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and equipment failures;
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs;
- Assemble, test, and maintain electrical equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures;
- Dismantle, repair, replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as gears, brushes, and armatures.
- Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures and complete circuits according to diagramspecifications.
Competencies:
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics and technical manuals;
- Basic hydraulic skills, understanding of production equipment and ability to use stick, cutting, arcgouging, and wire welding equipment;
- Understanding of safety protocols, Lock Out/Tag Out processes, and other mechanical safety processes;
- Ability to communicate effectively;
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines;
- Ability to problem solve proactively;
- Ability create strong relationships;
- Ability to be detail orientated;
- Understand and use basic office equipment and programs;
- Strong organizational skills.
