• Hold safety at the highest level geared towards accident prevention and awareness following companies’ safety protocols and guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment accompanied by senior technician. 
• Perform routine housekeeping and shop cleanliness.
• Looking for self-motivated person that matches our team values.
• Look up parts and create parts list to assist technicians.
• Able to be trained on shop equipment forklift, telehandler, skid steer, for help with clean up and repairs.
• Job entails physical labour need to be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Communicate and work well with others in a team setting.

• Passion for heavy equipment mechanical or technical maintenance
• Good character strives to do the job right the first time and take pride in your work.
• Valid driver’s license
• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Technical school would be a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.

Additional Information

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.
• Must be able to work shift work with 12 hour shifts.
• Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workday.
• Work is in a surface mine plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity.
• Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine environment, including hart hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.
