Hoplite Solutions is seeking Senior Level Mission Infrastructure Specialist. The Mission Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing mission-critical virtualization infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud.

- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years Virtualization experience (on-premises and cloud) infrastructure design and administration e.g., VMWare VSphere/ESXi, Linux KVM/Proxmox, commercial cloud providers (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- 5 years of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) architecture, design, implementation, and scaling experience
- VMWare Omnissa Horizon or similar VDI solution
- Hands on experience writing scripts for automation (e.g., bash, python, PowerShell, etc.)
- Proficiency working on Linux and Windows Systems, and supporting infrastructure
- Proficiency with TCP/IP Networking and firewall configuration for VDI infrastructure
- Experience implementing security standards in a fast-paced operational environment
- Experience with single sign-on (SSO) VDI Infrastructure implementation and integration technology (e.g., Keycloak or similar)
- Experience with network, application, and infrastructure troubleshooting and monitoring
- Experience with implementation of Network Boot configurations (PXE and UEFI)
- Experience with both on premise and cloud deployment technologies and automation
- Detail-oriented, organized, able to multitask, and adaptable to shifting requirements
- Flexibility – Works well both independently and as a team player, must be eager to learn
- Candidate should be a self-starter and possess a willingness to dive into new technologies when appropriate
- Experience implementing and documenting SOPs for system deployments
- Ansible or other infrastructure automation experience on Windows and Linux environment is a plus

Salary at Hoplite Solutions is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $175,000 to $215,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the company total compensation package for employees.
