KBFS has an immediate need for a Mission System Operator Instructor and Loadmaster Instructor to support our Crestview, FL operations.
Description:
The Mission System Operator Instructor and Loadmaster Instructor supports our U.S. Department of Defense contracts in various training venues at the KBFS Crestview operations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for conducting academic platform instruction and aircrew in support of US government training requirements.
- Responsible for conducting basic qualification and mission training.
- Responsible for providing simulation training to students in sensor trainers and for actual flight instruction for ISR and loadmaster skillsets.
- Prepares periodic status reports, end-of-course exams, and graduation documentation IAW specified the customer format for the training courses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience).
- Must possess a minimum of 10 years' tactical military aviation experience, with a minimum of 1,000 hours in turbine aircraft.
- Must have prior military qualification in Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions as a sensor operator or as a fixed-wing loadmaster (experience in both is preferred).
- Must have prior military flight instructor experience within the last 10 years.
- Must have flight experience in U-28, PC-12, Cessna 208, MC-12/King Air, Sky Truck, strike platforms, rescue platforms (to include rotary-wing aircraft), or equivalent experience (focused experience in the C-208 aircraft is preferred).
- A working understanding of special mission tasks, including Static & Dynamic ISR, Tactical Communications, Joint Operations, Airland and Airdrop, Aircraft Weight and Balance, Engine Running On/Offload (ERO) and short-field landings and takeoffs, is preferred.
- The job requires the presentation of a neat and well-groomed appearance, effective oral and written communication skills, and the ability to demonstrate aircraft skills and expertise to meet all technical support requirements with professionalism.
