We are Hiring for UofL Hospital's Mixed Acuity department.

Location: 530 S Jackson St. Louisville, KY 40202

Shift Options: Rotating, 36 hours/week

Unit Details

This position will support numerous units in the Stepdown PCU and Med Surg units at University Hospital. 

Position Details

The RN Shift Coordinator will provide support and will work collaboratively with the Clinical Manager and the Director. The Shift Coordinator will hold staff accountable on his/her shift and provide feedback to Clinical Manager. The Shift Coordinator is an extension of the Clinical Manager and is empowered to address issues and concerns on his/her respective shift.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed, or eligible for license, in Kentucky
• Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Bachelor's degree in nursing from accredited college or university
• Previous Charge Nurse or Leadership experience
• Minimum 3 years RN experience in an acute care facility with adult population

Preferred Qualifications

• National nursing certification in field of specialty or nursing administration or to be completed within 1 year of hire date
