We are seeking a TEMPORARY, FULL-TIME Non-Technical Business Analyst to join our Machine Learning (ML) team. The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate effective communication between the business stakeholders and the technical team by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for understanding business needs in the context of machine learning projects.
This is a nine to twelve month assignment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Business Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Conduct thorough analysis to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for ML projects.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories or functional specifications for the technical team.
- Problem Statement Definition:
- Define and articulate the core problem statements driving the need for ML solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the business problem at hand.
- Impact to Business:
- Assess the potential impact of proposed ML solutions on key business metrics, such as revenue, cost savings, customer satisfaction, etc.
- Quantify and communicate the expected ROI and business value of ML initiatives to stakeholders.
- Acceptance Criteria Establishment:
- Define measurable acceptance criteria that align with business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish criteria for evaluating the success of ML solutions.
- Alternate Solutions Evaluation:
- Research and evaluate alternative solutions or approaches to address business needs, considering factors such as feasibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of each option.
- Customer Satisfaction and Adoption:
- Champion a customer-centric approach to ML project development, ensuring that solutions meet the needs and expectations of end-users.
- Monitor customer feedback and adoption rates to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in documenting requirements using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $51,700 -- $140,300 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
