  Responsibilities:

  • Organize case documents, obtain and review medical records, and prepare comprehensive summaries.
  • Assist in deposition preparation, scheduling, and transcript indexing.
  • Conduct research on expert witnesses, manage subpoenas, and draft pleadings.
  • Perform legal research, compile findings, and maintain accurate case calendars.
  • Draft and send various pleadings and documents to counsel, courts, and clients as needed, including routine correspondence, deposition notices, briefs, motions, orders, petitions, and discovery.
  • File and coordinate service of documents, ensuring compliance with court requirements.
  • Manage scheduling order deadlines for multiple cases filed in various jurisdictions, both state and federal, and maintain an accurate calendar.
  • Draft, update, and maintain spreadsheets to track the status of cases.
  • Assist in document review, organization, and production.
  • Support with depositions, exhibit preparation, and reviewing deposition transcripts.
  • Maintain general case files organization, including correspondence, pleadings, and discovery.
  • Review court dockets and electronic filing notifications.

  Desired Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a litigation paralegal role.
  • Strong preference for experience in Medical Malpractice or Personal Injury law.
  • Proficiency in legal research, document management, and case calendaring.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
