Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Mobile Architect in a remote location. As a Mobile Architect, you will be part of Perficient's Mobile Solutions Practice developing Native and Cross-Platform Mobile Apps for high-profile customers. You will provide technology direction, ensure project implementation, and utilize technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions. You will also significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; you will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative, high-quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs

- Lead and mentor multiple mobile engineering pods in day-to-day planning and delivery.
- Define the overall technical architecture and strategy for the mobile application that is envisioned with the customer.
- Lead sales pursuit scoping and estimation activities.
- Prepare technical solution documents, architecture documents and artifacts.
- Deliver platform and architecture recommendations based on project requirements and industry best practices.
- Drive end-to-end solutions including mobile DevOps, automated testing, and analytics.
- Lead SCRUM planning meetings and lead daily standups to help keep the team informed on progress and blockers.
- Understand all aspects of the product you are buildings to better provide insight and recommendations to the team.
- Enforce development best practices and ensure quality delivery through unit testing, automation, and performing code reviews.
- Drive delivery excellence in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Work closely with stakeholders, visual designers, UX Architects, and user researchers to bring experiences to life.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or the equivalent.
- 10+ years of demonstrable experience in mobile development.
- 2-4 years of demonstrable experience in architecture design, documentation and agile team leadership.
- Must have excellent leadership, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Highly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high quality projects.
- Good understanding of UX and UI design best practices.
- Advanced-level understanding of mobile development.
- Native iOS and Android development experience
- React Native and other cross-platform mobile app development experience
- Familiarity with all aspects of Google Play Store & Apple App Store.
- Experience with best practices for designing Apps with high unit test coverage and simplified test automation.
- Experience with approaches and key tools used for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Knowledge of mobile app security vulnerabilities and related mitigations.
- A thorough understanding of OOP, design patterns, mobile application development architectural patterns.
The salary range for this position takes into consideration several factors when determining compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $81,978 to $178,090. Please note that the salary range listed for our US postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include benefits or any potential variable bonus programs, subject to rules governing the programs, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
