About the Job
SUMMARY:
The Mobile Device Management Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of Tablets and Mobile phones.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, implement, document, and maintain Microsoft Intune and VMware Workspace ONE solutions for mobile device management.
Develop and enforce mobile device usage, security, and compliance policies.
Oversee the enrollment and configuration of mobile devices across various operating systems, including iOS, Android, and Windows.
Ensure seamless and secure onboarding processes for new devices and users.
Implement security measures and controls to protect mobile devices from threats.
Monitor and ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations (e.g., PCI).
Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for issues related to mobile device management.
Work closely with IT support teams to resolve end-user issues and improve user experience.
Create and manage device policies, profiles, and compliance rules in Microsoft Intune and VMware Workspace ONE.
Regularly update and maintain MDM profiles and configurations as per organizational requirements.
Generate and analyze reports on device compliance, security incidents, and usage patterns.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of MDM configurations, policies, and procedures.
Conducted training sessions and provided guidance to end-users and IT staff on MDM best practices and usage.
Stay updated with the latest developments in mobile security and management technologies.
REQUIREMENTS:
Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or similar certification
Digital Workspace (VCP-DW) or similar certification.
Strong scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, RESTful API)
Must have at least three (3) years of progressive professional technical experience with Android in a large, dispersed information technology environment.
Expertise in Microsoft Intune and VMWare Workspace ONE, including configuration, policy management, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows).
Knowledge of security standards and compliance regulations related to mobile device management.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work details
Schedule
Regular hours, Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 with opportunities for flexible work by agreement.
Occasional out-of-hours work is required for planned maintenance of systems or for incident response.
Occasional travel is required for team meetings.
Location
This full-time, remote work position requires a suitable home office with good internet access.
